Understanding human behaviour can be challenging, especially when a person has harmed themselves or others. Psychology provides a lens to look beyond the behaviour and understand the person behind the act. Whilst risk management is paramount to our work, we believe that developing people’s strengths is equally, if not more important. In doing this we can treat people FAIRLY AND JUSTLY.
It is a privilege that individuals and the staff working with them let us glimpse into their lives. We often talk about sensitive issues that can have significant impact on someone. Therefore, we believe in DOING THINGS THE RIGHT WAY. Our staff are all appropriately qualified and trained in the most up to date psychological theory and techniques. We use evidence-based approaches so that those we work with can have confidence that they are getting the best treatment.
To help with making psychology accessible to all, we select and train our team to deliver work in a FRIENDLY, APPROACHABLE AND UNDERSTANDABLE WAY.
